In this section, we examine how we can pray the Word of God into our situation to see a breakthrough.
"Is not My word like fire," declares the Lord, "and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?"† (Jeremiah 23:29)

2CHR 20:12, 15, 17 [King Jehoshaphat prayed,] "O our God, will you not judge them? For we have no power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are upon you." [Jehaziel] said: "Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the Lord says to you: Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's. You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you.'"
Contend, O Lord, with those who contend with me:† fight against those who fight against me.† Take up shield and buckler; arise and come to my aid.† Brandish spear and javelin against those who pursue me.
Say to my soul, "I am your salvation."† May those who seek my life be disgraced and put to shame; may those who plot my ruin be turned back in dismay.† May they be like chaff before the wind, with the angel of the Lord driving them away; may their path be dark and slippery, with the angel of the Lord pursuing them.† Since they hid their net for me without cause and without cause dug a pit for me, may ruin overtake them by surprise --† may they fall into the pit, to their ruin.†
Then my soul will rejoice in the Lord and delight in his salvation.† My whole being will exclaim, "Who is like You, O Lord?† You rescue the poor from those too strong for them, the poor and needy from those who rob them."† (Psalm 35:1-10) NIV
Psalms 71:1-4† LORD, I have come to you for protection; never let me be defeated!† (2)† Because you are righteous, help me and rescue me. Listen to me and save me!† (3)† Be my secure shelter and a strong fortress to protect me; you are my refuge and defense.† (4)† My God, rescue me from wicked people, from the power of cruel and evil people.

2COR 10:3-5 For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
